    I wish for a one on one expert physical therapist quilter who could give me tips, techniques, confidence that I can quilt having lost my eye sight in one eye. I think I can do this but nervous.

    Thanks. My wish would be for a day of my son's time to help me organize all my fabric. He has a real eye for color and design and also knows how I think so he could group fabrics in the best way that works for me.

    I am working on the final block, sashings, and cornerstones of a replicated quilt that my grandmother pieced as a newly wed in 1903, setting on a tree stump as my grandfather cleared land for planting. My wish is that I am able to get it finished so my mother, age 96, will be able to see it.

    I've asked for a good pair of pinking shears. I bought a cheap pair thinking I wouldn't use them much but I do! They are so stiff that I get a blister on my thumb every time I use them!

    I changed the daughters room in to sewing studio, just could use more space, one sewing/emb mach and a mega quilter on frame, uses up room.. have to slide quilter and frame against wall when not in use... my wish list this Christmas would include some premium quilting thread, and some blending fabric...     Honestly, enough fabric to keep me busy for the next year. I am selfish with my sewing time, only because I don't get much. My new sewing machine is amazing and I am blessed beyond to have a desire to create such beauty. I purchased the Little House fabric and I am making two twin quilts for my granddaughters. This is my heaven on this earth!

    My darling husband bought me a new sewing machine singer quantum stylist 9960 for Christmas to replace my 41yr old kenmore..and currently we both are using a small bedroom as study/sewing room..I would love to have my own sewing room..nothing fancy I would turn it into a fabulous sewing room!

    I always have admired quilting but never thought I would have time to devote to it as I painted and petit pointed. Went to visit a friend in Flin Flon MB Canada two years ago and she infected me so have been collecting fabric and trying to learn new techniques. Am loving it.

    Well - due to health reasons with my back and limbs, I would LOVE to have some sort of cutting system that would help me calm my scraps and turn them into usable pieces. It would help me finish some quilts for my family and charity. My funds don't allow be to purchase this type of thing without saving for over a year just to get a basic system. Which I'm trying to do, but it's very slow. I would be very happy if this wish came true. But I would be happy with anything that I might win.     As a woman that has seen and quilted for many years, many of my rulers are very old. I would like to begin replacing them with the newer grid/ grip type. I also would be so excited to have a new stash of the new fabrics that are out.

    Ah... There's this place in Lithuania that sells dirt cheap yarn in 100% linen. I live in Ireland, so I'd have to buy at least 5 kg to avoid breaking the bank over shipping costs. I'd be set for life... One wish that won't come true, not this Christmas anyway.

    Recovering from rotator cuff surgery. I am able to do a little bit of hand stitching but my wish is for a speedy recovery so I can get back to all the projects I have stored up.

    Would love some "how to" books since I'm still learning. Fabric and thread are always a necessity! I have 2 projects for the upcoming year I'd like to make... A memory quilt for my 28yr old Son who passed this year and something with birds (chickadees are GREAT!) to make one for my elderly Father who adores his birds:)

    Blenders are the thing I lack in my fabrics. My eye is too easily drawn to the patterns and pictures. Most of holiday craft is easily transportable handwork.

    I've recently started doing cross-stitch and other embroidery as well as quilting so on my wish list is one of those very strong lights so I can see my needle and thread even in the darkness of winter!

    The biggest thing on my wish list would be a new sewing machine with more throat space, programmable needle stop, auto threader, and a few more stitches. Can't decide if I really want automatic tension control, also a rotating cutting mat.

    I will be making 5 lap quilts for the ladies at my church that have a prayer meeting every morning. The church is cold and I think that since they pray for me every morning, least I can do is help them stay warm while they do! Thanks for the giveaway!

    Well, I'll be honest: I got my Christmas gift already - my husband finally had his back surgery yesterday and he's doing so much better already!     I love when my husband file my stocking with sewing goodies like prefilled bobbins, spare needles, thread or elastic. We live a long way from a store so having things on hand can save a project.
